I've been crocheting since I was about 7 or 8, and I'm now 30. I've made tons of afghans (adult and baby), ponchos, shawls, scarves, earrings, hats for charity, one really messed up doily, etc... I can't just sit and do nothing with my hands, so I'm usually working on something. I've just recently learned how to knit, but I still prefer to crochet.

I love knitting and crocheting... I go through these phases; right now I'm in a knitting phase. My last crochet project was a backpack, but I'd like to crochet a baby afghan sometime.

I have a book of thread crochet patterns, and years from now when I have more time and patience, I plan to crochet the three adorable little angels in there. One is playing a trumpet, one has a flute, and the third has a book of carols in its hands. You are supposed to apply a glue-and-water mixture to shape them and make them stand up.

I like to knit, but I'm trying to learn how to crochet. Right now I can only do straight lines. I guess we all have to start somewhere! Anyways I'd like to make a throw for my best friend's baby girl so wish me luck because at the rate I'm going it will be for the grandchild.

I started crocheting when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I love it. I don't know how to make many things, just pot holders and blankets. I have a blanket started that I haven't had time to finish yet.

Crochet is the work of the devil - it is simply impossible to make anything using only one needle - I know because I've tried and tried. My husband can do it but then he always did have a little of the devil in him.

Use to but now tend to avoid too much handwork with OOS. Still use it every now and then.
