Because to tell the truth is not P.C.. It's as if the whale swallowed the ocean. People that can really get along with other people are amazing in their art form. They have to smile and get along , but what really amazes me is they can have agreeable conversations about subjects that they know are 100% crap.

They are perpetuating lies and only doing themselves a favor, while society suffers. However it seems that my little theory has a giant hole in it, because the P.C. person while maybe full of it, they are also tolerant and that gives them a huge edge over a person who insist on truth. It's like the old idea of the tree versus the stalk of grass. While the tree is mighty with strength, tall and proud, and the grass is small and insignificant. When a storm comes, the tree will fall while the grass is just fine (I'm sure I screwed up that old saying).

Is P.C. right then?, of course not, but it seems to work, it trumps truth in today's society.

Maybe you meant P.O. for "public opinion"? If so, thats nothing new. Think it began with Homo Erectus.

But if you really meant "personal computer", people these days dont care about truth...they prefer entertainment. Just look at our Pres.
