im only 15 but i dont believe in it. everyone has the right to live. and if you were responsible enough to get pregnant, you should have thought about the consequences. there are always adoption places that have loving families that want, but cant, have kids. thats the best option if you dont want the baby.

No I do not agree with abortion anymore. I am glad to say that I am pro-life now. When I got pregnant with my first child, I had an abortion. Just seeing that remains of what my doctor scraped out of me put me in a depression for months. I seriously do regret getting my abortion. I often think would I had been a good mother to my child and what the baby would have grown up to be. But I vowed to not do this again because it still leaves a pain in my heart and mind with the question of "What if?" It is sad that I will live with that for the rest of my life but like everyone says, life must go on. I am against abortion now because aside from my experience, I realize that it is a life that you are practically murdering. The child did not ask to be born so it is not your right to decide whether you will rather abort the child or not. I realize now that I did not have to do what I did, I could have given up the child to a foster family that would have loved him or her. But that chance is lost because of my mistake.

Pro-choice. A fetus is not a living thing (up to a certain point). One is not living if they do not have significant brain matter and that is the case for an immature fetus. If a woman wants to get an abortion, she will get one, whether it is legal or not. Its best to do it in a way that does not hurt the woman. Until anyone can prove that a child (or anyone for that matter) has a "soul" then there is no reason to support the banning of abortion. Something is not living until it can think for itself, if you don't ban killing a plant (which is at least alive) then don't ban abortion. Its the same situation, except the plant is actually living, whereas the fetus is not. As for abortion as a method of birth control, I don't care what the woman does. As I said, the fetus is not hurt (up to a certain point) and if the woman decides to screw up her reproductive system because she couldn't use protection then it's her own damn fault.

I DO agree with abortion. The baby will NOT be the one who has to go through the emotional and physical pain of pregncacy, or any of the other things that a pregnant teen has to go through!
In my opinion, it is better to never have been born at all, than to be born into this world unwanted and unloved. If the people who wern't planning on keeping their babies got abortions, then maybe their wouldn't be so many kids in orphanages. I also think that homeless people should get abortions rather than let their babies be born into a horrible life.

i do not believe in abortion. i never have and i never will. i think the only reason someone should be able to have an abortion is if they get raped or if its a result of incest (my mom told me that one and i agreed) but other than that i dont like the idea of having abortions. girls are taking time to have sex but not wanting to deal with the consequenses which is messed up. besides that there are plenty of women out there that can not get pregnant and wish for a baby so badly and here these girls are killing their innocent fetus. aborting is murder. why kill a baby when that baby has done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve to die?? i dont agree with it at all. i better quit talking about this because its making me mad to think about it.

I do not believe in abortion for birth control reasons. If you think your old enough to lay down with someone you had better be prepared for the consequences. However I do believe if a women has been raped they should have the option to abort. Parents and schools need to stop being so hush, hush about sex and pregnancy as if they don't talk about it then maybe it won't happen.
In fact it will happen and probably already has if you don't tell kids about it. I think adoption should be the number one choice. So many people are unable to conceive and there are so many women(and young girls) having abortions. I think kids would think twice about sex if their only option was adoption.

I agree abortion is wrong, but in extreme cases it's right. If the child you have is threatning your health(to the point of near death) then you should get a abortion. You have to look after yourself before others well being. You have a right to live just like the child in your belly, but the childs not going to live if you die so the child would still die anyways even if you got a abortion. It's a personal choice, just go with your gut feeling whether it's right or wrong. Decide on your gut feeling or insticnt if you prefer to call it that.

ABORTION IS SO FRIGGEN GAY.
Abortion should die. Abortion should be banned.
I mean, it's your fault that you had sex and you didn't use protection! It's not our fault you didn't know about the dangers of having sex. I mean, if you're gonna have sex, know that you might get STD's and you might get a kid. Everyone that's in someone's belly right now, should be able to live. If the kid's hurt (inside the stomach) you still shouldn't abort a baby! I mean what if that was you and you never lived your life?! Abortion is just a wrong thing and never should be used. Abortion isn't something you use over and over again because you are addicted to sex.
I WANNA KILL EVERYONE WHO ABORTED A CHILD.

Why are people doing this?
Abortion is the killing of a child. Every woman has her different reasons for choosing abortion. But many feel that bringing this new baby into the world will cause problems for themselves and for there life. Although I cannot be sure of the exact reasons some people do this, I have talked with many people at conferences, youth rallies and retreats about abortion and why some people have done it. And some common reasons are: “The unborn are not human”, “I can’t afford to have this baby”, “What if the baby is conceived through rape?”, “It’s so small, how can you think that something that size is a human being?”, and things like level of development, location and dependency. These are personal reasons that most people considering abortion are thinking about, although a lot have their own reasons I am sure. There are many different views on this subject but morally the answer to me seems quite clear. I think personally that some people are not educated on this subject enough or haven’t really thought about it in grave detail.
When someone says the unborn are not human you could simply reply by telling them that, being human is not what we currently can do but what we have the ability to do. One can be a person without functioning as one, like those who are asleep or comatose. When someone says they cannot afford to have this baby, you should ask them, “So when humans become too expensive we can kill them off?” Or things that are not wanted should be eliminated? The homeless are not wanted but does that mean we are to kill them off? Or what about the ever to common argument of: “Well what about when a girl is raped?” Although that is a very terrible thing to have to deal with you can't ask the unborn to forfeit their lives to make the mother feel better. Hardship does not justify homicide. So should one punish the baby for an act that the father did? An example of this would be. Say your father robs a bank and steal a bunch of stuff and flees the country with all his possessions. But since they can’t find your father they decided that they would take you to jail for a long time, to make up for your fathers criminal act. Is this fair? To punish you for your fathers act? Well I don’t think so. The point is that you shouldn’t take the life of your baby, because of something that the father did.
Size is also something people seem to think makes a big difference. A lot will say well, it’s only a little piece of nothing in there, or its so small how could it be that important? Well that little “piece of nothing” jus happens to have a heart beat and little fingers, and toes. If for one second after looking at that little baby, on the screen you can tell me that that is not a human being, there is something wrong with the way you perceive what you see. What does the size of your child have to do with its worth? Since when does size make anyone more or less of a human being? Are children less human than adults? Since men are generally larger than women, does that make them more human? The size of your baby should not be a reason for killing it. There is also level of development. After a child is born, he or she is still far from being fully developed. All sorts of mental and physical capacities are developed throughout childhood. Even a girl's reproductive system isn't fully developed until her early teens. If we were to use this criteria as a measure of humanity, those with lower I.Q. would have to be considered less human than those with higher I.Q. People that are blind or deaf or people that suffer from other capabilities from birth would be considered less human too. To answer location, are you, as a person, worth more or less when you walk from your living room to your bedroom? No, so how is it that a child in a mother’s womb is worth more when it leaves the body? And last of all dependency, there are many adults that left alone would not survive. For instance, those taking certain medications or using a pace maker…are they less human? Babies and young children would not be able to survive on their own if left alone either. So this makes them less human? No it doesn’t. Although I am fully Catholic, with a faith directed aspect on life, and morally on the path away from abortion, these are just some basic thoughts that lead many of us to hold to the belief that abortion is simply the killing of a child.

Yes i am prochoice. I am for the right to have an abortion. I do not think it is right for a woman to use it as birth control and have one after another after another... But it is her right. If I was raped I would not want the government forcing me to have the baby that I never willing had sex for or asked for or wanted! I would probably never have an abortion if it was a willing interaction that caused a baby to be produced. But rape a woman has no choice and needs the right to have the choice after the rape. I think men should have NO say in it also because they arent the ones who have to have the baby.
