It is not necessary to warm up baby food. Many parents choose to, because their baby's are more willing to eat it that way. Actually, it is better not to warm the fruits and veggies as this can cause a breakdown in some of the vitamins that they contain. If it is necessary to warm up the food, it will indicate that on the package (for example some of the Gerber meals have microwavable instructions on the side).

I always warmed my baby's food just enough to knock the chill off if it had been in the fridge, if it was fresh out of the jar from the cabinent, I didn't. Cereal, I just used warm milk, never warmed. I have 3 children and they all turned out fine lol.

I think this definitely depends on the baby. My son has to have it warm or he won't even it. However, I have friend that can feed it to her daughter right from the jar.
Either way, it's still safe for your child. I would try to feed it to her without warming it up first. If she starts to complain, then try and warm it up. We find that 10 seconds in the microwave works best.
Hope this helps!

Warm up vegetables, meats and cereals. Fruit can be served at room temperature. Anything that's too cold can hurt your baby's tummy.

No it is not something that has to be done. If your baby has never had it warm, she won't know the difference. It is up to you. If you do warm it, make sure you test it to make sure it is not too hot.

The nutrition is there whether it is warm or cold. Do you like your oatmeal cold??? Fruit is better cold and vegetables or better warm. Use your best judgment and you will do fine!!!

Depends on what exactly the food is.
But, cereal you should not.

I do. But I don't think you really need to. I mean if she'll eat it cold then let her eat it. My children won't eat anything cold when they're that little.
