What an interesting tropic for discussion. Let's take this one steppe at a time. First, most geographers feel they are on an even plain. Sure, they have tundra work to do. But they never desert their responsibilities. As a result, the climate they maintain in their workplace is very balanced. So no, geographers never feel out of place. They just take more latitudes.
