In British Columbia, Canada the general minimum wage is $8.00 per hour. For employees with little work experience (I think it's 500 hours or so) the minimum wage is $6.00.

Here in BC we also have a law that allows workers to be scheduled for two-hour shifts. So you could be a high-school student and get called into work for a two-hour shift, making $6.00 per hour. Doesn't seem worth it, does it?

it depends on your age.
2.15 euro an hour for 15-year olds (under certain circumstances, some 15-year olds are allowed to work 23 days in a year)
That's 2,72 USD.

6 euro for a 22+ year old.
7,59 USD

Belgium, bye the way

It said the Federal mimimum wage for hourly employee's is:
$6.50/hour
For agricultural employee's its: $5.15/hour
and for employee's who make tips (waitresses) its: $2.33/hour.
My gf worked for chilis and made $2.33/hour...it was common for her to get a $0 paycheck....her hourly wages = taxes.
