My mother -in-law had one pair of twins. Is there any possibility that we(me and my husband) can have twins? Or just her daughters(my sisters-in-law) have the possibilities?

Biology says that twins skip a generation! So my father in law was a twin, and there were twins on my dad side, so there is a chance we might have twins!
But again, it has to start somewhere right?
You may have twins, but i don't think you will! But your kids might!

There is a possibility if you hit all night...JK
Well, I don't think so. It would most likely be your sister-in-laws because they're the ones related to your mom-in-law.
There would of been a possibility if it was your mom, but very minimal cause it would skip you and get your daughter. In other words, your daughter would have a higher chance of conceiving twins.

I hope I explained it without confusing you... Good luck

It is carried by the female only since it is a function of having more than one egg fertile at the same time within the women that determines this for maternal twins. For identical twins, the egg divides into two zygotes.

As long as there are twins on either side, there is always a possibility for the parents to have twins or even triplets.

Twins do tend to run in familiess, although one set of twins doesn't indicate a strong possiblity that your husband carries that gene. I would research his family tree more, if there are more cases of twins, then I would say that you have a stronger likelyhood, although nothing is certain.

Twins are always possible genetics can make it even more possible. You should know early iin pregnancy, if I remember right around 12 weeks they can hear the heartbeat. Most doctors will do an ultrasound at that time if they suspect more than one.

well, i read somewhere that usually the females carry that gene, however, there is the possibility. your sister-in-law will have more of a chance, but a lot of the time the "twin gene" skips generations.

Twins occur in one out of every 100,000 pregnancies, so any woman has about a 5% chance of doing that naturally.
