When I did not answer this person left nasty mean messages. I was sick when I got home and to have that on my messages was very upsetting. Why are people so rude like that?

I think in this age of everyone having cell-phones, people are taking for granted that they can instantly get in touch with anyone at anytime, or if they get voice mail that the call will be returned shortly. Those mean and nasty messages show impatience, insecurity and self-centeredness, and I hope when that person found out you were in the hospital they thought long and hard about the way they acted.

People are people. You can't change that. Unfortunatly, people always jump to wrong conclusions. Sounds like they are selfish and want you there at their beck and call. They did not know the circumstances for you not answering, however, that does not excuse their rude behavior. If you value that persons friendship call them and explain the circumstances, if they still don't understand then then are not worth stressing about.

Gee wizz. You had a valid reason for not answering the phone. I'd call the mf'er back and tear him (or her) a new one. Let them know that you were in the hospital while they were being an a**.

Sorry to hear that. Hope your feeling better now.

I don't really know why people are so rude like that. They can be so rough to be in the hospital anyway, I'm sorry that happened to you. Take good care.

ugh tell me about it. i work in customer service and people just are not satisfied with anything.
look, i'd just think that this person was having a really bad day and needed an outlet ... and somehow you became that.
in a way i guess you did them a favour.

If this person is a friend, call them back and tell them calmly and plainly that the friendship is now over.

Maybe its because you are rude, I just saw an answer from you where someone asked "What Happpend?" referring to a soap opera, and your answer was unecessary and rude.

I had a similar situation. Some people are so UGLY!! Insensitive!

I don't know what makes them that way... I guess "stupidity" is what I've reasoned.

Peace.

(Hope you're feeling better.)
