The ABS has logged a fault code because there is a malfunction somewhere in the system. Usually it's dirt or water at the wheel speed sensors or connectors. You will need to have a diagnostic performed to access the fault codes. Jules automotive lecturer. Australia.

This feels like the ABS sensors are out. additionally verify the ABS module that's placed someplace close to the grasp cylinder. it could look like a flat container with metallic strains determining from it (variety of strains relies upon on what share wheels have ABS). My suggestion to all my consumers is to start small. verify your brake fluid.

usually is a wheel speed sensor disconnect the battery for 20secs. then reconnect if it comes on again chech front abs sensors if ok get the dealer to pull the codes

Check and see if there is a recall on the switch on the brake mastercylinder that releases the cruise control, you can check it at nada.com
