I personally like ff7 best but which one do you?

First played VIII, so it has a special place in my heart. VII is the most popular (in the US) by far, as personal experience will probably tell you. In my humble opinion, I would say that Nine, though the easiest, was the one I enjoyed the most. It had the best graphics so far and that good old-timey feel.

FF 7 is the one. I never played the games, but I have seen FF Advent Children, and also I've read a LOT about em. Even tho the graphics are bad (For our time), it is considered one of the most successful games in the gaming history. You can trust me on this one. If you still wanna check, e mail any major magazine (gamespy, and all those) or just email one of the shows on G4, and ask. The answer will be the same, if you ask experienced, hard core gamers.

Final Fantasy X for me! I like the game and its story so much, better than the others. Final Fantasy VII just got alot of attention because of the great movie and anime. But personally, I like 7, 8, 9, 10, and 10-2. All of them rule my heart. The story is so amazing and the graphics is good. I first played 9 and I liked it so much, the others followed, but it still did not ruin the line!

I never played ff7 but I did buy Advent Children and thought it was amazing. My favorite is ffx and ffx-2.

FF2 (nintendo) is actually FF 4, the staging point for it all and still my favorite, dun get me wrong i enjoyed the others but it was 4 that got me hooked.
And no... unless you cheat, aries zach are both dead and unattainable without sumthin like gameshark.
