I voted for the guy twice.
Now the answer:
He won by a narrow margin the first time. The second victory was unquestionable even though the liberal media tried to call the election way too early in Kerry's favor. Yeah and Clinton didn't make this country a laughing-stock after his rendezvous with various women.

"He makes Americans look like fools!" Then that would make him the perfect spokesman! Okay, so I don't completely mean that, however if you think about it, weren't most of the votes from the SOUTHERN states? I guess it's true that the further north you go in the states, the more they act like Canadians, which is a very good thing;) I do wish the Americans would be more tolerant and open-minded.

The attourney general of both Ohio and Florida also happened to chair the state's re-election committee for Bush in 2004 and 2000, respectively. The attourney general also happens to make the rules for counting votes. In a pair of elections decided by those two states, it's not hard to see what went on.

As far as the 2004 election, I just remember Kerry backing down when he saw that he wasn't going to have enough votes toward the end of the counting.
The other thing is that I think alot of people were following Bush on his war on terror. I watched all three of the debated between Bush and Kerry. In one debate, Bush responded to something Kerry said by saying that the terrorists can't be negotiated with. Maybe too many people were unsure of Kerry's plan to fight terrorism, and that helped Bush in the end.

he won because of the Electoral College .when you vote for a presidential candidate you are really be voting to instruct the electors from your state to cast their votes for the same candidate. For example, if you vote for the Republican candidate, you are really voting for an elector who will be "pledged" to vote for the Republican candidate. The candidate who wins the popular vote in a state wins all the pledged votes of the state's electors Under the Electoral College system, we do not elect the President and Vice President through a direct nation-wide vote. The Presidential election is decided by the combined results of 51 State elections (in this context, the term "State" includes DC). It is possible that an elector could ignore the results of the popular vote, but that occurs very rarely. Your vote helps decide which candidate receives your State's electoral votes.

You don't suppose that thousands of Americans asked this very question in regards to Clinton or Carter?
Bush didn't have to go on Saturday Night Live or MTV to attract the idiot masses by showing America he could blow(sax or sex).....Bill did...on tv as well as in the Oval Office.

Because 62 Million people are stupid? I only quoted a banner headline from an English newspaper, a day after the elections in the United States that states: "How come 62 million people are stupid?"

With the help of his brother, the governor of Florida, and his father's appointments to the Supreme Court, Bush became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.

He wasn't elected. He was (s)elected by the Supreme Court his father put in place. He's a despicable person. I personally can't wait for him to be out of office.
Clinton may have had sex in the office (and how many other Presidents have done the same?), but he sure knew how to be a good President. AND he won fairly.
