I know that when your temping to see if you ovulated your pre O temps will be lower than your post O temps, is there a chance just by your temps alone that they can be wrong? Like if your temps say your ovulated is there a chance that you didnt and they are wrong? If your doing everything right have temped before and know what your doing. So your getting enough sleep, your temping at the same time every morning nothing has changed from the cycles you temped before.

If you test correctly (like you say you do) then there should be no mistake about when you ovulate! Before you ovulate, your body releases estrogen to keep you body temp. low and after you ovulate, your body releases progesterone and that is what makes your body temp. go up! I would suggest getting the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler! That book goes into more detail about the ovulation period in your cycle and is really informative about ALL aspects of your cycle! Hope that helps...

Temping isn't considered a very reliable method, especially since there are so many factors that effect your body temperature. A better choice is an ovulation prediction kit that gives you information *before* you ovulate.
