Assuming you mean Adelaide in South Australia if so: Not much love... I lived there for 15yrs and am now a lot happier in Melbourne! They call it 'God's waiting room' for a reason!
Anyhow, besides laughing at the monstrous amount of badly dressed and/or elderly people/bogans on display - its not too bad!
The beaches there are beautiful - even in Winter. Try Brighton beach or the Glenelg district for dinner/drinks. If you go in to the city you can try Kava at The Hut on Hindley West then pop down the road to Supermild - an awesome underground lounge bar. The Adelaide Hills are beautiful also try going on a winery tour or pop into Rennies in Stirling for breakfast - he does a fantastic breakfast croissant. The art gallery on North Terrace is also quite nice and the Museum (just up from the art gallery) is pretty good also. Dannys Thai Bistro on the Parade in Norwood does great Thai food.
Can't think of much else... though I'm sure there is. Pop into the tourist beaureu. Have fun!

Well, it really depends what interests you. If you're feeling brave, you could go as far away as victor harbour. It's freezing cold at this time of year, but very pretty. It's a fair way from the city (one to two hours) but I think busses go there.
You could try going to Mt Barker and just wondering around.
Hahndorf is a really great place to go for a daytrip as well - it's a very quaint little German tourist town with a lot of little cottage shops - go there if you love cheeses, beautiful scenery and wines and cottage industry food.
]You could also go on a tour of the Barossa Valley - there are plenty of day tours around - lots of wineries :)
