Every state maintains its own list of sexual predators. I don't know what state you live in, but you can find the web site for your state at:
http://www.nsopr.gov/
That's the federal government site on sexual predators. They maintain links to other web sites for each state. Find your state and click on the link to go to the web site.

Have you tried going to your local police department?
Last year, about 6 months after we moved in the police went door to door distributing a paper that was to notify us that a formerly convicted sexual predator was living in our neighborhood. They are required by my state to register withing two weeks of moving into a neighborhood.
Yeah. Ask the police. Its their job.
