the car run good. i just when you drive for like 30 min. and cut it off, i go back to start it and it wount start at all.

If the engine cranks over, check to see if there is spark at the coil tower. If there is no spark, it's most likely a bad ignition module on the side of the distributor.

Ford starters will do this very thing. The starter is going out, it picks up heat from the engine and won't start until it cools off. Next time you try to start, have someone turn the key while you hit the starter with a hammer. If it starts, then you know for sure. Replace the starter.

Don't know how old it is, but maybe you've got starter problems. If not, may need to get a mechanic to run an EEC test to see if all is well...Good Luck

We had two Taurus' in the family with bad electronic ignition modules. the starter motor will turn the engine, but the engine will not 'fire' up.

how old is that thing? do they still build them?
trade it in.
buy an import.

more than likely your computer has a temp efected conection and may have to be replased.
