There is no tool sold in stores that is used specifically to paint letters on the keyboard. You would have to improvise. My first thought is to use a Whiteout pen and gently write it in, however that could cause a big mess and would not stay on very long. I'd say just leave it as it is and find a clear bag (e.g. a clear bag for putting produce in at the supermarket) big enough to fit your keyboard in and place it in there to prevent any further damage. Though if you are really wanting to replace that letter, find some black paper and on Mircrosoft Word, using Size 13 Font, type the letter you are missing in WHITE and print it out. Now cut it out and use a gluestick to stick it on. (Do not use glue as it would cause a big lump and cannot be removed.

Just tell people that it's the "any" key, so when the computer says, "push any key to continue" that's the key you hit.
or use a white paint pen

all u have to do is get a colorful sharpie and write on the keyboard. if u wnat all the letters' colors to match u could get a white paint marker and write the letter. or u could use white out. but if u don't mind different colors (as i said before) get a sharpie and right it.

Use stickers on the keyboard instead of painting it.

try using one of those white out pens. it is small enough to make the symbol and should stay for a while.
