i think it's that feeling of sadness in your chest when you're not with someone. it's the feeling of happiness you have when you're with them. it's knowing that you'd do anything in your power to make them happy. it's compromise. it's trust. it's honnesty. love is sharing. love is commitment. love isn't planned. love happens. you can love things, and you can love actions, smells, tastes, and sounds. you will love a lot of people in your life, and you will love them all differently. someone can do you wrong, and you can still love them, and it causes a lot of confusion. you can love someone you've never met, and you can love someone you've known your whole life whom you've never before considered "loving." love has no explanation. it's just one of those abstract things that's different for everyone. i hope you have plenty! Love, Sarah.

Love comes in many forms and is felt differently by everyone. Love is the core component to being in love with someone, in my opinion. I think to be truly in love with someone you first have to love yourself and love the other person without question, fear or doubt. Human nature will cause doubt, suspicion and fear; however, prayer and God's help will pull all of that away and you can feel love and then be in love. Teenagers feel love but it is most often not true love. It is what people call "puppy love". To answer your question, there is no true explanation of love. TO EACH THEIR OWN!

The freedom to pursue your own desires
While sharing your experiences
With the other person,
The growth of one individual
Alongside of and together with the growth
Of another individual.

To be best friends first, and to be allowing, accepting and encouraging of the other to grow and change alonside you but independant from you. To miss sharing the little thigs in life when the other is away. inside jokes. knowing when the other is hurting with a single word or glance.
That is what love is.

Love is the will to give up one's life for the sake of another person. This is actually pretty cheesy but it does make sense. Words can't really do justice describing love.
