Listen to your heart.

Not sure the age range, but usually, it's hard for kids to accept other women in their mother's place.

Can I be honest? I really don't think you should. Take this from the child of a divorced home: you'd be stealing someone away from them. I realize fully well that you don't intend to, you two still love each other and I'm guessing you want to have him spending time with his kids too, but to the kids, all they can see is someone's stealling daddy away from mommy. If there are other things going on there, and he's leaving for those reasons, give him time to do it. But, to use the same idea Dr. Phil put out there once, what would keep him from leaving you for another woman?

back away, back up and away. A man who leaves a woman for another woman creates a pattern for running away. When he has left her and 'dried' out from her (give the drying time about 6 months) then date him. If you find he lied and really had not broke it off with her, this is the great indicator that you dodged a bullet the first time...he leaves her for you, then he leaves you for another woman...then he leaves her for yet another.... you don't want this.

He has 4 children? How are you gonna feel when he leaves you and your four children for someone else?

His children need their father.. You should be ashamed of yourself..

Never monkey with another monkeys. monkey.

If he was already single that would be different.. Good luck..
