I'll start at the beginning and make my way up to the newest episodes.
Lorelai Gilmore was raised in the elite part of Hartford, where her parents took her to fancy parties and threw her a "coming out party". One of her parent's kid's name was Christopher, and they started dating. She got pregnant when she was 16. Her parents said that she had to marry Christopher, but she refused. Instead, she had her daughter Rory(short for Lorelai) and lived with her parents, Richard and Emily, until her daughter was a year old. Then she ran away to Stars Hollow where she became a maid at an inn. (She worked there for years and years, eventually becoming a manager, until it burnt down) Rory is accepted into Chilton Prep, but Lorelai can't pay, so Emily and Richard agree to pay as long as the Girls go to Friday Night Dinners at their house every week.
Lorelai and Rory are the best of friends, unlike most mother and daughter. They can finish each other's sentences, and they make up jokes about all the books and movies and music they really like. Also, they LOVE coffee!
Which brings me to.... *drum roll please* the Great Luke Danes, owner of Luke's Diner!!! He has had his eye on Lorelai since she walked into the diner about 10 years before the show started and told him to give her coffee. He said he was busy, so she followed him around and gave him a horoscope where she wrote "you will meet an annoying woman today. Give her coffee and she will go away." (but she didn't!) Then Lorelai said that if he kept it forever, it would bring him luck.
Rory is a very quiet bookworm who has always wanted to get into Harvard. She has a friend Lane, who is Korean and has a very strict Christian mother. Another friend of hers is the incredibly intelligent Paris Gellar. Rory and Lane met at Stars Hollow High, and Rory and Paris met at Chilton Prep school, where she went in 10th grade. In season one she met Dean, who she started dating. They eventually broke up, though, because of Luke's nephew, Jess, who moved to Stars Hollow. Everyone could see that Rory like Jess more than Dean, and Jess was really in love with Rory, even though he didn't say it cause he was going for the "bad boy" attitude. He had more in common with Rory than Dean did.
Lorelai was engaged to Max Medina, Rory's teacher at Chilton, for a time, but then she decided she didn't really love him like she thought, and they broke up. Then she kept having flings with Christopher, Rory's dad. In season four, Lorelai opens a new Inn and starts dating Luke. Also in this season, Rory tells Jess that she doesn't want to run away with him, so he's pretty much out of her life for good ('cept for a few eppies in season 6) and she sleeps with Dean, who is married.
In season five (the worst one of all) Richard and Emily get seperated, but then remarry. Emily invites Christopher to the wedding, which ticks Lorelai and Luke off, and they break up. For a little while, that is. Then Lorelai proposes to Luke, and he says yes.
Meanwhile, Rory is having a casual relationship with Logan Huntzberger. But once, when Logan's dad tells Rory that she's not a good journalist, she decides to do something crazy, and she and Logan still a yaucht. They go to jail for the night, and blablabla. I honestly hate Logan. Rory drops out of Yale, too, where she went because it was closer than Harvard.
In Season 6, Luke finds out he has a kid, April, from a past relationship. He opts not to tell Lorelai for a while, but then she finds out somehow or another. Anyways, they were going to get married, but Luke kept telling Lorelai to wait awhile cause he wanted to get things settled with April. Then Lorelai says that she doesn't want to wait anymore. In the newest episode (the 6th season finale) we see her in Christopher's bed.
I kind of left out the quirky characters, but I'm sure you'll catch up on those if you continue to watch. If you're ever confused about Ceaser, the chef at the Diner, don't worry about it. They switch between 2 actors every episode. Also, when in doubt, IT'S FRIDAY!

I propose that youdo lock your door and perhaps shove a towel or some textile to block the gentle from beneith your door. As for sound, purchase a headset so as that the sound is going into the ear instead of the total room. You dont unquestionably need the sounds of a girl groaning filling the whole room now do you? Be cautios, in case you hear any sounds, then immediatly turn off your browser. happy jacking.

To much to tell you, buy the series, Walmart has them. Or maybe your library has them and like soap opera you could watch a few then skip then a couple more, you'll get it fast enough.
