I understand that Aloha means hello or good-bye.
Which do you prefer?

Is it hello or good-bye to you? Why do you feel that way? What other languages have one word that means the opposite?

English has a few, doesn't it? In some contexts, 'bad', 'nasty' and 'wicked' now have the same connotations as 'cool', 'excellent' and 'good'.

I LIKE BOTH BECAUSE, hello represents a love call to a person... and good bye represents god be with you

Living in Hawaii....I hear it more as Hello than good-bye......good-bye is usually mahalo (thank you)....I think it should just be hello and love........
