Mikhail is Russian for Michael. Not a very common name among Anglos, and certainly will be mispelled by teachers, friends, etc., but definitely different!

I've always loved that name, but you've gotta make sure it goes with the last name. Something like "Mikhail Flanagan" sounds pretty ridiculous...yanno?

I like it too! I would probably spell it differently (like Mchale).

It's a nice variation of the name Michael.

I dunno, it's very Russian-sounding. Like the other person said, it really depends upon your last name. If your last name happens to be "Gorbachev" or something like that, then it works.
