Actually, you're "provided" a penny to your ideas. If you set your 2 cents in, that makes 2 cents and one penny. They don't seem to be the equal incidentally considering Great Briton has pennies and no cents whilst the US has cents and no pennies. There's my 2 cents. .

Nah its due to the rate of exchange. 2 US cents are worth 1 GB penny. Not going anywhere, just international exchange for the different currency!

I have wondered this too...i think its the difference between putting your nose where it doesn't belong and some one wanting your thoughts...I guess your giving too much (putting your 2 cents in) or we are asking what you think ( so we are going to give you an opportunity)...not sure though
