One of my friends said she was killed by poachers years ago, yet in a wikipedia article it said in 2004 she announxed that she belives in Yetis and Bigfoot. Also in the Wikipedia article it does not mention a death date. Don't you think if someone as important as Jane died they would mention it on the article page?

I think your friend was thinking of Dian Fossey, who was killed (supposedly) by poachers. Dian was known for her work which was similar to Jane's. Dian was found dead in her cabin in 1985. Jane and Dian are known to be similar, I can see how your friend made the mix up. :)
