it is an automatic transmission. However it changes gears bsed on your drving style and conditions to give you the best output from your engine and better gas mileage.

It is set up much like a snowmobile belt or trans in some ATV's.It works by using a steel link belt and 2 pulleys that can expand in and out for belt tension
