Against - male, not circumcised.

Circumcision is one of the dumbest things people do. They don't even do if to animals, but they do it to humans...go figure! I've had a foreskin for all 30 years of my life, and it causes me no problems at all. There's this claim that it gets infected by some penis-eating bacteria or something...I've never had a problem like that, and don't see how that would happen. And most of the world does not circumcise their men (Europe, for example), and they don't complain.

If you cut off the foreskin, what should be on the inside is now on the outside. That's not right, and there's no reason for it. Not to mention that like with any surgery, there are risks for it. I would strongly recommend against it to pretty much anybody, unless it's medically necessary (like if foreskin is too tight or something).

Female, and no I am not circumcised! I am against it because sex is better for a woman (me) if a guy isn't circumcised and I imagine it would be better for a guy too. Unfortunately too many of us have been brainwashed into cutting off an inch before we know how long it's going to grow:)

I am female, uncircumcised, and against it. Don't laugh! So - called "female circumcision" is done to many women, especially in African countries, though AFAIK it is illegal here in Australia.

I had a hysterectomy, many years ago. I suspect that damaged my sexual system a bit.

:-(

I am very impressed with the information in, and linked from, this site:

http://www.circumstitions.com/

They are very very opposed to surgical modification of human genitals, even in cases of "intersex". Support groups for intersex people are also against such surgery on children; they ask that it be delayed until the person can choose what to do, as an adult.

Do NOT circumcise!

Please............

I'm cut, but wouldnt have it done again. Its not needed for sanitation like it was originally intended and it's been proven that is causes the penis to be less sensitive if youre cut. Since the most sensitve part (the head) is constantly rubbing,it everntually desensitizes it. I dont like the look so much , but I'd love to have the feeling back. I hear a lot of women prefer it uncut anyway.

My son was not circumcised as a baby and it hasn't bothered him at all.

My friend's son wasn't circumcised as a baby and had to have the surgery at age 4 because of problems he was having.

I have no idea if it's better sexually.

Against it, female, not circumcised

Mother nature put the foreskin there for a reason and it's perfectly natural, not a deformity. It's unnecessary surgery that is quite painful to baby. Boys can learn to keep themselves clean to reduce infection.

I am all for it cause I am a female nursing student and also have worked in health care for 11 years and have seen men that aren't and they get infections a lot because the foreskin traps bacteria.
