like if you accidentally mess up something on your computer, you can go click an option to revert the computer back to exactly how it was at a previous time... how do i get there? i think i deleted something i wasn't supposed to..

thanks, rojoe_58, but when I do that system restore, this error msg comes up: System Restore Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. any suggestions?

Start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore

Your computer might be using Windows Monitoring and Restore. That is in the system icon of the control panel. Also you might have another program like Phoenix backup or Nero? Anyway be careful because Windows Monitoring doesn't save very often.
