My kid does. In fact, he *habitually* asks questions we just gave the answer to literally five seconds before.

Everyone is different to some degree, though, even kids that share ADHD.

Our son has a focus problem because he sees EVERYTHING at once. I'm perceptive and wary of my environment by nature, but when I took him walking in the woods when he was young, he was pointing out wildlife I would have NEVER noticed. (It left me awestruck.)

His problem is that he can't prioritize sensory impressions or tune out anything, so it all comes in as one big load roar to him. He misses important details and has to ask about them later.

He is also extremely extraverted, so he thinks "outside his head" and talks continuously. I think questions to myself, then ask only the ones I need to or can't determine an answer for; you get a completely unedited version of his mental activity, though. You hear everything he thinks.

This is not uncommon for ADHD kids; but like I said, they all differ or show different "parts" of the syndrome at different strengths.

thanks to the above man or woman for truly talking about foodstuff regimen. My step son has been on ADHD drugs on condition that he grow to be 2. Who places a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous on med for that??? He grow to be being a regular 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous who's mom may enable him drink each and each and every of the pop he might want to drink and sweet he might want to devour. I completely agree that about ninety p.c. of upload or ADHD situations may be managed with foodstuff regimen and pastime ameliorations. Too many video games and tv getting used as babysitters on the instantaneous. Now, the son that is been on the meds for the previous 15 years instantly, he's now 17 has and is on even extra meds for Crohn's ailment, colative ulcers, he's bi-polar and is likewise now on meds for anti-pressure and melancholy alongside with persevering with the ADHD meds, which at 17 i trust should be properly less than administration. He hasn't ever supply us behavioral issues when we've our visitation days. he's almost a zombie and extremely incoherent from the meds. His mom even tried to have him on meds for bedwetting. honestly obsured. he's were given a puzzling highway ahead, yet i imagine healthcare professional's ought to really inspect the homelife of the youngsters earlier they hear to hypochondriatic those who favor their youthful ones sedated because of ways they chosen to enhance them and now can not deal with and self-discipline them the reliable previous trend way. Now, that being reported, I do trust there are situations the position meds ought to easily accept and brought on commonplace foundation. I have a buddy who's son may go berzerk and commence punching walls and a gaggle of different stuff even although they made pastime ameliorations. I believe them on the meds for his or her son because there grow to be a one hundred% distinction contained in the youngster. My recommend is to objective decision procedures and use meds as an absolute merely very last hotel. I extremely do not trust they comprehend all the outcome of lengthy time period use of those meds and are merely starting up to scratch the exterior on studying it.
