It all depends on the type of fabric: If it's washable use Tide w/fabreeze (you can either line dry or use dryer fabric softener w/ fabreeze. If it's upholstery then try Lysol basin tub tile cleaner-foam on a wash cloth(remember to spot check first) if that doesn't work, try fabreeze spray. Hope this helps.

If you mean fabric on furniture, make up a spray of lemon juice and water and spray on and around quite liberally and air out as much as possible. Put a small container near-by full of bicarb and change it every couple of days. This works in the car as well. If you mean clothes - wash them.

i have a smoking room in the house where i can contain the smoke stench. after a "session," i'll burn nag champa incense. afterwards you can smell the incense just a bit but the smoke smell is truly, truly gone. when people enter my smoking room they usually ask me what type of room deodorizer i use and where it can be bought.

FeBreeze is good, as stated above. If that doesn't do it, try Lysol disinfecting spray in Clean Linen scent.

I would wash them. A good wash always gets rid of all of the smelly stuff~unless, it is on upholstery, then I would have it steam cleaned.
