look i am an athlete and i started weight lifting with a new coach and i have been doing gymnastics............... welll i have been conditioning my legs really hard and they are so so really reallly sore so is there anyway that i can get them feeling better besides taking a hot bath?????? i really need help on this one!!!

i think u should take a time off on the weight lifting and tell your coach about your problems-he might have better suggestions

Deep Heat, Chinese Balm, Metsal cream - Whatever the hot/atheletes balm equivalent is where you come form. Seriously it works... Apply it after a hot shower/bath.
Also, lots of water to flush out the lactic acid and toxin buid up from the work out. And rest in between! And juice!

Try massaging Icy Hot on them, after a warm soak in the bath.. Take some Advil and go to bed early to get rested.. The Icy Hot will help you to relax.. BUY it at the drug store.. Um.. You don't want to get this on mr.winki, or in your eyes..

Sore is not good. That means your legs are not getting enough rest. Work out every OTHER day. And before exercising, do leg stretching exercises.

Drink lots more water. Eight 16 ounce bottles a day.

sore is actually a good thing. your body is adjusting to the lifting. you'll adjust but don't push yourself so hard though. if you do that too much, you going to be more prone to hurting yourself

you're not using good form when you work out if youre THAT sore...but for temporary relief from your problem id have to recommend soaking in epsom salt...ive been told this by lots of my nurse friends...

Poooh yeah,, you can go down to da buyou, and eat plenty crawfish,,yeah,, you den feel a whole lot better,and while you do dat,you trow a few beers down too!!!!!!!

pour epson salt in the bath.. you can find it all Walgreen's or someplace like that. It helps relax the muscles.
