Blood tests can detect pregnancy moments after conception. Conception does not start at fertilization. By definition, conception is when a fertilized ovum implants itself into your uterine lining. This usually occurs 5-7 days after fertilization (or sex). If you decide to take a urine test, be careful of test claiming to predict pregnancy 5 days before your missed period. Sure they can work, but false negatives (test showing not pregnant when you really are) are extremely common during this time frame. Take a urine test the morning after your missed period (morning is important because hgc, which is the hormone all pregnancy tests look for, is at it's highest concentration in the morning). Pregnant or not, best of luck and I hope this helps you.

I read the rest of your question and since you don't menstrate please go to the doctor to get a blood test. It's the only method that's 100%. You can also get them 5-7 days after you have sex.

After these 3 days, take the test in the morning, the first wee after you wake up is more concentrated, so more accurate.

I don't understand what you are sayin about "2 weeks 3 weeks from now...i never know when i am going to start my cycle do to PCOS...so i cant go by my AF dates or anything..."

I just had a baby, I took the first pregnancy test the first week after we had tried, then another at two weeks after.

Did you try testing your ovulation dates? It's usually about 10 days after that that you have enough HGC in your system to get a positive.

Oh, and try using clear blue easy, that gets the best results.

I know where ur comin from, also being a PCOS sufferer. Not easy to know, let nature take it's course and if you notice symptoms of pregnancy (Sore breasts, tired etc,) then take a test, I was 4 mths before I found out!! I am lucky to have 1. You could spend alot on kits only to be dissapointed again! All the best!! :o)

well it takes 5-12 days after fertilization to implant and until then, pregnancy test will show negative. But every woman is different some woman dont get a positive for 3 weeks, 4, even 6 weeks later then finally boom a positive!!
