I can see some jealousy among the responses. I guess that's understandable.

Um, I thought something like 180 was a very high IQ. 110? How about "not stupid?"

Actually, 110 is just above average (100). See below

120-140 Very superior intelligence
110-120 Superior intelligence
90-110 Normal or average intelligence

Honestly people your IQ means nothing if you never put it to use . Mine for instance is and always has been around 164 but you wouldn't have guessed it up until a few years ago when I started to take an interest in what I was learning .
Allow me to ask this . Two student have a test coming up . Student #1 studies every waking hour and rereads every assignment given over the year, while student #2 can remember every single class/assignment and has no reason to study . Now both of them receive A's and both minds now hold the exact same information as the other , so should how fast it took them to obtain that information really matter ?
Remember its not the capacity of your brain that matters but what you store inside of it !

An IQ of 110 would make you average. Gifted IQ's fall in the 130-144 range.

In answer to to your question... average.

However there is nothing wrong with being average, there is a lot more to life than your IQ.

For others of us out there... Have you ever noticed the higher the IQ the dumber you feel, and that the lower the IQ the smarter one feels?

As for the word 'gifted', I think the word annoyed or frustrated would often fit better.
Moderately frustrated
Highly frustrated
Exceptional frustrated
Profoundly frustrated

*sings* My IQ, is higher than yours, yes my IQ, it's better than yours, and they're like, "It's better than yours," and damn right, it's better than yours! *end musical interlude*

Uh, sorry there. Heheh. Well. 150+ is genius (like me), and 110, is maybe *slightly* higher than average. 100 is average, but there's probably some overlap, you know, 95-110 is average or something to that effect.

Don't think you're any better than anyone else because of your IQ, though. Just different. For instance, can anyone help it if they have Down's Syndrome?

Besides, all that "holier than thou" stuff is such a turn-off, right? As an example, my song up there doesn't really win me any charm points, does it? The people that seem the most intelligent to people are the ones who behave humbly and display their intellect in ordinary conversations. That's all there is to it. ^_^

110 is gifted? Whoa, if someone with 110 considers themselves gifted, they must be very 'special'. I am in the high 130s and consider myself to be reasonably intelligent. I have many friends that leave me in the dust and I don't fee that they would consider themselves to be much more then reasonably intelligent.

But then, if you look at the questions being asked here, maybe 110 has moved into the gifted category!!!

"Some IQ testers use these classifications to describe differing levels of giftedness. The following bands apply with a standard deviation of σ = 15 on a standardized IQ test. Each band represents a difference of one standard deviation from the mean.

* Bright: 115+, or 1 in six (84th percentile)
* Moderately gifted: 130+, or 1 in 50 (97.9th percentile)
* Highly gifted: 145+, or 1 in 1000 (99.9th percentile)
* Exceptionally gifted: 160+, or 1 in 30,000 (99.997th percentile)
* Profoundly gifted: 175+, or 1 in 3 million (99.99997th percentile)"

110 would put the individual barely, just barely above the average range of 95-105.

But, don't feel bad - since your IQ is only 110, you wouldn't know that.

P.S. There is a graph on the linked page, showing the average IQ range.

I am sorry to say but 110 is average. 110 is on the high end of average. People who score 140 - 160 are considered gifted.

sorry to say the above.

I scored 160 but i really dont feel any smarter than the average joe. There have been many occasions where i feel like a true dummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
