Baltimore could be a sleeper team this year, but I don't think it really has anything to do with Steve McNair. While his addition is nice, a big offense has never been Baltimore Ravens football. It's all about defense. The biggest problem last year was Ray Lewis. He had no defensive line. Ray Lewis' production depends on strong lineman keeping the O-line at bay so he can move around and hit the holes. He depends on speed versus strength, which makes him a bad match with the "big uglies". Baltimore made some good moves to bulk up the D-line, including drafting a big lineman from Oregon. We could see the rebirth of the nasty Ravens D this year.

Health is the biggest part with McNair BUT at this point ANYTHING would be better than Boller! Personally if we want older players and become a combined version of 80s cowboys with criminal offenses and present day Raiders with mature (years playing experience) players why didn't we discuss a deal with Doug Flutie who would still play if he could be a starter. And DARN IT Baltimore...He did give the town glory in the Canadian league with the Stallions!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course also what has been the problems with other past quarterbacks....Dilfer being the biggest...HE WON US A SUPER BOWL....y get rid of him? And Mr. Testervertie why couldn't you play that good with us as you did your first year with the Jets????

I think they were 9-7 last year with boller...... hmmm 10-6 if eveything goes well absolute best is 12-4 but the steelers and bengals would have to die for that to happen

they will do much better than last year because kyle boller wont be starting and mcnair gets his favorite target back in derrick mason and with that defence they mite have a chance at the playoffs and possibly the superbowl in the next couple years

it may likely be Kyle Boller, who they presently gave a one or 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days extension. As to McNair i imagine he's about to retire to be effortless, he may play next season yet i does not be taken aback if he did not.

they will be a better team but no division winner. The AFC has way too much talent for them to compete. At the most a wildcard.
