She moved from the state she lived in, because they would never have elected her, to a liberal state where she could win. It's called carpetbagging.

Yes, it makes perfect sense. N.Y. has mostly liberal voters and she ran on a way far left liberal platform. She knew she was going to win before she ran, because of all the positive feed back before the race. It didn't matter who ran against her. she was a shoe in and knew it. Sad but true, because no one would ever have heard of her if it wasn't for her cheating, lying, useless, gross, lying, pathetic, hopeless, lying husband. Oh, by the way, did I mention lying husband?
Any way she didn't earn the office it was handed to her because of her liberal ways and actions while she was our first lady. Nothing more, nothing less. Just take it for what it is worth. Maybe she'll learn how to brain wash voters in N.Y. as well as Ted Kennedy has in Massachusetts. Maybe he can spare some time and become her personal tutor. lol.
Good question and God Bless America.

Yes, it makes perfect sense. She is an intelligent woman with a law degree. She gets along with the other senators, even right wingers like Newt Gingrich. The voters of NY recognized her abilities and elected her.

There are a pair of motives: It became typical that she needed to run for president, yet to accomplish that, she might want to verify a music checklist and constituency completely cut loose bill's. manhattan state had a Senate seat that became open (i.e., no longer being defended by ability of an incumbent) and a few polling confirmed that she would desire to win it if she ran. notice: there's a precedent for this in Bobby Kennedy. He did precisely a similar concern for precisely a similar motives. manhattan knew what they have been getting and curiously they are happy together with her.

Because Giuliani was suddenly diagnosed with prostate cancer before the election and bowed out. Funny how you haven't heard about his prostate cancer since then though. I think he would be a great president too. He is extremely diplomatic.
