Well depending the meaning of the question are you talking about scary movie from the series of scary movie, or the genre scary movie in general, well from the series i would have to say part1 and 3. but in the genre of scary that would be a toss up, but cant think of one off the top of my head

the original excorsist--with linda blair--the 1st time i saw that i couldn,t sleep for days!!!!--lol---the original shining with jack nicholson was pretty good too
