i've worn nothing but long skirts since the fourth grade but i don't think its nessacery but i do need to remain modest help me out

Modesty has nothing to do with the length of your skirt. How low is your neckline or how tight are your tops? Do you go to a swimming pool ar wear shorts? In our school the most covered up girls were the ones having sex first. That's called false modesty.
Dress 21st century, wear fitted jeans and skirts a little above your knees. I have been doing it since 9th grade, and now i m 17, and work half days in a law ofice, making good money, and I have to wear stockings, heels, and business clothes everyday, and actually it's great.

I feel modesty is good if you mean not looking trashy or vulgar...
but if you are wearing clothes to cover your body because some christian told you that you were sinful and born filthy from Adam and Eve's sin in Eden, then forget it...
there are parts of the world that believe women should cover all their body and show no skin at all and they take the girls and the circumcise them (cutting off their female genitals) because they feel it causes sin and a woman to be unclean...
If you want to run through the woods stark naked as a jay bird...girlfriend go for it! I say.

Sometimes the less skin you show, the more sexy the outfit is because it leaves something to the imagination. I think one of my favorite looks is a fitted button up shirt worn with either a great pair of pants or a knee lenght pencil skirt. Mix this with some fun accessories and your ready to go ! :)

Modesty is a personal measuring device in what you are willing to share with others of yourself. Possibly one could define it as good judgment. You will know when it is time to raise that skirt.

wear skirts around the knee area and shirts that cover all of you
tankinis and thats modesty--not to tight by the way!!

Modesty is common sense. Wear what make YOU comfortable, dress for yourself, not for others. One of my biggest pet peeves is to see an overweight girl wearing a tank top, or spandex or a half shirt. (and they honestly think they look GOOD).

I think that modest isskirts knee high or maybe and inch shorter. SHirts that cover your whole belly, one piece swimsuits, and no spagettit straps. GOOD JOB ON TRYING TO BE MODEST!!^.^
