my daughter just got a tattoo, it looks fine but all around it she broke out with hives. .

she could be allergic to one of the inks,i hope she got this tattoo done in a safe place..... have you ever heard of witch hazel? its sold in any pharmacy where the alcohol and the water of peroxide,well witch hazel will help the tatto do not use any antibotic cream it will faint the colors in the tattoo.just keep an eye on it and use the witch hazel and if something else happend like signs of infection go back to the place she had the tattoo done and show it to the person that did it and take her to the doctor if she keeps up with the hives.

Sounds like an allergic reaction to the dye.
