I know you're supposed to take your valuables in your carryon, but I don't want to have to take that out at the metal detector. What to do?

I would probably just pack it away in the luggage that you are going to check. In the event that you do have to remove the things from your carry on, you can avoid a huge embarrassment by not having it in there. I mean, unless you aren't bashful--after all, it's not like the lady 3 people down from you in the line won't have hers with her.

When they search your luggage they will see also. Better to pack them in the bag that goes under the plane than on. I did. I did not see the people going thru my luggage so they had no idea who I was. That would be pretty embarrassing. Maybe you can buy them where you are vacationing.

It depends on what the sex toys are. I would pack them in my bag though because I would hate for them to be publically searched. If it is anything that involves batteries, I would definitely take them out.

Pack 'em. That way if they do get discovered you won't be standing there. Besides, do you think you're the only one traveling with toys? Another idea would be to buy some at your destination and throw them away when you leave.

They will see your toys either way. The question is- how embarrassed would you be for your mom or grandma to see your "toys" out in public by opening your carryon for them (authorities) to see?

If you pack in the carry-on, there's a chance you might have to take it out. But if you pack in your bag, there's a chance that weird, dirty, nasty freaks are going to play with it. I personally wouldn't want it out of my possession. It isn't like everybody doesn't know that pretty much all women have one.

You might want to pack them in your luggage that you will check. Your carry on bags will go through screeners and people will be able to see what you have in them. You also might have your bags opened and searched - in which case it might be a bit embarassing for you.

Depends quite how kinky you are. If you fancy a full cavity search, you might want to carry some of them in, or even stuff a few in your socks to be on the safe side.

I'd pack it in my bag. It won't be the first time the inspectors have seen stuff like that, and you won't have to potentially pull it out for other travelers to see.
