Do you prefer to be brought up by your mother or father and why?

I was brought up by both my parents.I dont think I would have it any other way.Both of my parents were here when I was growing up.They showed me right from wrong and showed me that they love me no matter what I do.To me : A child needs both of the parents in his/her life.There are some things that only mom can talk to them and then they are things that only dad has answer too.Sometimes it doesnt always work out this way.But every child has a right to have both parents in their life,not just one.

Well, in my case I would prefer to be brought up by my father because naturally my womanlly instincts would take over when I was ready. But, to learn things like fishing, tree climbing, and hunting, I would have had to be raised by my father. As, a female raised by a male, I think I feel a bit more whole.

Well i was brought up by my mother since i was four. I would say being raised by a woman would help you with knowledge, you learn the facts of life and you understand problems a lot easier. Being raised by your father gives you knowledge of a head on approach. you know like what works best. I'd say it'd be best to be with each for an equal amount of time.

I would have to say I would prefer to be brought up by both of them, they are your parents after all and they love you a lot, but I have been brought up with just my mother mu whole life.

Well i wish that i was brought up with both becuz i've missed out on having a careing mother and a loveing dad i don;t have netier i live wit a family friend wit my sis and bro but i really wish that i could see them together in 2009 (thats when my dad gets out of prion!Reason unknowen!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I would prefer both! But if I had to choose I would say my mothere because she always new what was best for me!

Both two parents are always better than one if the love is strong, but if I had too chose it would be my mother (already like that) because a mother's love will never leave you, will always be around and she will make sacrifice for her child always.

I wouldn't know since I was raised in a single parent home, by my mom and she did a heck of a good job. Although sometimes I wish my dad would have been involved in my life.

i would my mother since thats what happen. Well im 23 now and i was raised by my mother. Although i believe it depends on whether u r females or males depends on who the child bonds with!!

I was raised by my mother only, I had not choice. It was the best thing for me because my father is a loser.
