my g/f is japanese and im american. we have been dating a few years and im back in the states and she and i both want her here in the states. whats the easiest way for her to get a permanent visa here?

She could get her permanent visa if you marry her and she could apply at US Embassy in Japan. Though it looks easy, it would take lots of time for processing and interviews to follow.
If both of you are not yet decided to get marry, she could visit you and stay with you in US, she has waiver visa and when the time you decided to get marry, she could apply for her permanent visa at the US Immigration, same thing as you would need documents from Japan to process the permanent visa and you can go to Japan Embassy for more documents.
