I am Catholic.

I have read the book and seen the movie.

It is relatively good fiction although I liked Angels and Demons better.

My Church is worried about weak and/or ignorant people who will take all of the lies and half truths seriously and be led away from the truth.

With love in Christ.

The Da Vinci Code is great fiction. I read the book and watched the movie. The movie was good entertainment, but the book is better.

Nay. I don't think the book was never intended to be taken as fact. It is a historical fiction, and that's it.

I have not seen the movie, but I don't intend to see it, either.

i am a CHRISTIAN but not a CATHOLIC.
the movie/book threatened the foundations of christian faith (not only catholics)
but that didnt bother me a whit.. the book contained facts. it served as a catalyst for finding the truth and reading more about the church's history..
i love the book. it was more fascinating than the movie.
up to us TO MAKE SENSE OF IT.. yes?

I liked the movie, but if you read the book, the ending will disappoint. Well, unless you didn't like the way the book ended.

And yeah, not Catholic.
