I regret not saying sorry to my Dad before he passed away. I was a horrible teenager and I owed him the apology for everything I put him through. Then when I was 27 he passed away suddenly. I am 36 now and I will always regret not saying the words to him.

I have so many that depending on the day my top 10 can shift from things I did in my teens, to crazy stuff I did or did not do in college to over the last now that I'm 31.
1. Laughing at what should have been my first g/f face when she said she wanted to start dating b/c I thought she was just joking with me.
2. Not being able to go to the college I want but instead staying home for what turned how to be another 10 years.
3. Not having the courage to talk to so many girls that it didn't hit me that if I just relaxed and sought out to be myself I would not have been no where near as lonely as I ended being in my life.
4. Not sleeping with this one girl I was kind of into even when we were in her room and she was under the covers nude
5. Not playing a sport in high school, not b/c I didn't think I was good enough, but I didn't think anyone else would think I was good.
6. ...
I can go on and on I have so many

I have no regrets, any decision you make is the best decision you could have possibly made at that given time, or you wouldn't have made it. THat may sound like denial, but think. Does anyone ever say "I feel like screwing something up." Sure, I've questioned the things I've done but I do things for a reason whether I'll understand them in the fiuture or not, I dont know.

Not getting to know you better. You're already so famous for your wisdom and benevolence here in the Yahoo! Answers community, and I think it's just such a shame that you wouldn't be telling me in person how I gave you the best answer to this question. But I suspect that you'll find some other way to reward me for acknowledging your excellence. The smart people always do.
Yours forever, Doctor Biobrain.

I have a couple When I was in the Marine Corps I did not climb the rope to the top, Wish I did. In my personal life I did not tell my parents that I loved them as much as I did. And for that I lost both of them my mom in 94 and my dad in 95.

Wasting my life. I am 49. Not married, exactly (been seperated for 11 years and never speak to or see him. Have no home of my own. Don't make much money. Have had no ambition. Just drifted along in life without any goals.

There's this girl I liked when I was younger. I was such a dud at dating. A friend and I went on a double date with her and a friend, but we didn't get to talk much. I was afraid to get too close to her, because she was so much younger than me. But everyone else seemed okay with it, so I guess it would have been alright. I regret not trying to get to know her more. It might not have worked out, but at least I would have tried!

Not going to RISD when I got accpeted. They said if I did not hear form them by a certain date , then better luck next time. The date came and went, I heard nada, so I went with another school and the day I was leaving for the other college's orientation... I got accepted to RISD.

Not giving my best when I was in High School and blew an opportunity to graduate with honors. I could have qualified and easily won a position as a student council president.
Oh well.

My two greaqtest regrets are equal: 1: I wish i had spoken up more in high school, to teachers, boys, my friends/peers. I think would be a lot happier now if i had spoken up alot more.
2: I wish i had worked harder in high school, college is tough financially and i could have had a scholarship if i had worked to my potential.
