I have 2 hostes and they have holes in their leaves from the bugs eating them, what can I buy or use to get them to stop??

Sevin dust... 5% should keep them at bay... but you have to reapply it after every rain.

Get a spray bottle, fill 1/4 with water,put 2 tablespoons of dish soap, 1/2 cup of vinager, finish with water. kills most plant eating bugs in 2 min.

Homemade remedy that works wonders:
Get a sprayer that attaches to a hose and fill it with Baby shampoo, turn on the water and spray away.

Since they are eating your hostas, I'll bet you have slugs or nails. Get a box of snail and slug killer and sprinkle it under the plants.

mix some hot sauce with water , put in a spray bottle and spray all the leaves

get two bricks, put bug on one brick and slam other brick on top of first brick
