Will this medicine effect my kid if i give in more quantity.

i am not a doctor, but i would say you should Not. call Patient First near you, or a hospital or some kind of nurse helpline and ask a nurse. Or you could even call the poison control number and ask before giving the medicine to your child.

Diphenhydrymine is simply Benedryl. And it's for allergies. This medicine may cause respiratory arrest in infants. There is benedryl especially made for children.

Read the directions on the bottle. It should tell you the dosing & age requirements.
