Does every game have the potential to be won?

GAMES magazine recruited a bunch of people to figure this out a couple of years ago. The final answer was that there are a couple of layouts that cannot be won, but only 2 or 3.

I play Spider Solitaire a lot. The trick in to get as many cards turned over as soon as you can. Then you win every time.

it is possible but you have to take the time and patience to learn the stratigies (cant spell) to winning the game. i believe you will be the first to win all the spider solitaire games.

Never play any one player game. What's the point ? It sort of begs the question " Whom are you trying to beat ? "
If you're gonna play with something, don't play with yourself -- find someone to play with. I did and while she's in NYC, I'll forgo the playing with myself and opt for playing here.
Solitaire is just simple statistics ... a classroom exercise in random chance. What's the challenge in that ?

I so highly doubt it cause my longest streak on that game was 6 wins

not to me. there are some games where you end up just being kinda stuck. i'm not sure if it's the way i play it, but yeah.
