I have an adult female sim with maximum cooking skills, yet i loaded the game multiple times and all a sudden the only option she has is to prepare hamburgers... I had used the boolprop testingcheatsenabled true cheat on another family, but i turned it off after using it. She is the only sim in all my games without the option of preparing food. what can be wrong with my game? (it runs on the computer, not x-box or something like that)

Maybe its a glitch. Weird things like that happen sometimes. Go to the maxis site (www.sims2.com) and see if they have a patch or some info about it. If not you may have to reinstall. Its a pain but sometimes that's the only way to fix problems. That's a final resort though.

Is there a table or benchtop available for her to prepare the food on, make sure there is an oven.

if the patch doesn't work you could try the sims 2 forums you will have to sign up if you are not already.

are you sure its cheeseburgers? You can accidentally get the grilled cheese aspiration. It could be that. I dont remember how to fix it but im sure you can look it up online.
