I just saw a French film (My Wife is an Actress) and in it, there's a scene where the actor who plays an actor has to act the birth of a flower. Actually, it was pretty cool! It was great, in fact.

My question is: for those who took theatre classes, have you ever had to do that, or somehting similar?

Yes, it is typically done as an exercise in acting classes, sometimes, in doing the exercise, the acting teacher asks the students to choose an animal and "act that animal."

The exercises help the actor in creating a character, getting in touch with their body, assisting in making the body to move more freely, etc.

I did a lot weirder things in the '60s and '70s.
