It's the start of summer and they haven't even been called to camps yet (have they?) why now?

It may still be baseball season, but many die-hards can't wait for the next Fantasy Football season to begin. Plus, depending on the size of your League, if teams managers live in different towns, or there's money involved (and there almost always is), these things may take some time to set-up and organize (especially if the friends in your League are immature, jobless, and unorganized...like mine!) I've found it's best to create a League mid- to late-July, and to have our draft in late-August (that way we can have a 2 or 3 preseason games under our belts.) Hell, I'm getting excited! I may create my League right now!

Some football fans just can't wait. Seriously though, a lot of people run office pools. It takes a while to organize these things, plus the stakes are higher when there's less coverage.

Why not?

What is there going on in sports right now? Baseball? How boring!!!! I'd rather watch snail racing.

At least NASCAR and World Cup will fill the void until September when football makes its return!

b/c losers like me get so excited at the sight of "sign up for fantasy football"--yeah, sure, there are other sports now, but none like football and no other fantasy sports are better than football!!!!!!!!
