Check out Motorola Q - The world's thinnest smartphone, now available at Verizon Wireless. Measuring at less than ½” thick and just over 4.0 oz, this is the thinnest, lightest Windows smartphone ever produced. Email and productivity tools are amazing. For your e-mail needs, you get Outlook Mobile so that you can synchronize your messages, your contacts, calendar, and tasks.
Although the Q doesn't have a touch screen, the scrollwheel is very easy to use. The Q measures 2.5 inches diagonally and displays 65,536 hues at a 320x240-pixel resolution. It's by far the best phone/email/PD combo I've even seen.
You might want to check out PalmOne Treo 700w - also using Microsoft Windows Mobile.

you might want to consider the treo. verizon has the 700 and may also have the 650 in some areas. i know several people who have them (mostly the 650) and they rave about how much they love it and can't live without it. see pcworld rankings below.
