Depending on the area you live in,I live in Va. and they make anywhere from 10.00 to 13.00 and hour.If you work in a doctor's office it's more.I'm from D.C and the make good money especially in MD. my cousin is a medical assistant and she work at a plastic surgery center,she makes 18.00 dollars an hour,so I guess it depend's on where you live and your exp. and plus she was a certified nursing assistant for 6 years so she has that under her belt to.

A medical assitant should get paid $30,000 a year. They do so much and have a lot of responbsibilities.
