I am afraid of 3 in the morning. I really do not know how to explain it. I am fine most of the time, but if I am up at 3 a.m. I am paranoid beyond belief. Monsters under the bed, killers at the door, that kind of stuff. And I don't get that way any other time of day.
To the best of my knowledge, they do not have a name for it. Anyway, that would be it.

I'm not afraid, but I have the craziest phobia of ants. I even think about them too long and I start to get itchy. They give me the heebie-jeebies.

I am terrified of men with large bulges in the front of their trousers, probably down to the fact that i am so small myself. This is absolutely true and i have even had counseling for this phobia.

Swimming in lakes. Hate that. Hate that. Hate that. I can't see what is in the water, the mud on the bottom, the weeds FREAK ME OUT, fish... Awful. I go into full panic survival mode if I have to swim out in the middle of the lake where I can't touch the bottom (although I can swim fine). Oddly, I love boating... What a mystery.

I used to be afraid of elevators... now I'm just afraid of basketballs. If another kind of ball gets thrown towards me, that's fine, but if a basketball comes towards my head i duck to the floor and cover my head - this is true! I have no problems with snakes, bats, spiders or other creepy crawlies, don't mind the dark or tight spaces... just basketballs.

Cold water.
Not hot or warm water, but cold water.
I fell in a swimming pool (cold) at age 4 and almost drown. Now when I get in cold water, I get a really tight chest and can't breathe.
In a heated pool, I can swim fine. In the bath, shower, hottub, etc. I am fine.

Porcelin and tile freaks me out. My bathroom is carpeted and I cannot walk barefoot in the kitchen. I have a mat in my shower and I have to be really careful not to touch the cold porcelin with my feet or legs. I freak out if I accidently touch it. I have a cushioned toilet seat too.
